i am also planning to change Turanza .. thy have gone very hard and car rattles now .. planning to go for Dbs 195/65/15 .. will they be fine ??

Or if u have no problem moving from stock size 185-65r15 is the best options

These are your options which are available in the market. If i have a choice i will go for Dunlop or Yokohama bluEarth.

Is it a good idea to just go for summer tyres instead of making sure to find the right seasonal tyres or winter tyres? Because of the mostly hot weather in our country? Is it a safe bet?

So I went to Nila Gumbad today and went to 8 different shops and asked them.
They gave me the following choices.

Now prices are different according shops however I can't honestly decide which one's to go for. I really liked the review of the Pirelli Cinturato P1. Other than that almost everyone suggested to go for Yoko Advan dB but when I look at the tire tread it seems very basic

P.S : How will I ever know if I'm being sold smuggled tyres or not ? Because one shopkeeper showed me the difference of a smuggled and a normal tyre. The punchline is he picked both the tyre's from his shelf. Which meant he sold smuggled tyres too lol

Neela gumbad are a rip off. You just don't know what they might be selling to you. Advan dB are good, I have Dunlop sp touring installed. They are OK. Couple of things you need to remember, whatever you buy, make sure they are fresh, shouldn't be older than November or December 2016, plus don't change the aspect ratio. Go with 185/60. There is a reason why the manufacturers recommend something.

I got Pirelli Cinturato P1 from Asif Traders Hussain Chowk for 7700 each. They were 195/65/R15
After a day took them back and got 185/65/R15 instead because the 195 were touching when I would turn the wheel fully .. the guy charged 7500 each and returned 1000 Rs like a decent human being.

Very happy with the new Tyres ..

They were manufactured in 28th week of 2016 which I feel is good enough.

I wouldn't outrightly tell you to skip... the only issue I had with them was when I would turn the wheel completely and that too was because the front right tyre would touch the inside of the fender gap. Some people get that widened and it's a breeze afterwards. Plus after getting alignment done that issue has also been reported to stop.
Plus the car gets raised up considerably well and the tyres look much better aesthetically.

I did not want to go through any hassles of getting my fender worked on so I opted out but it comes down to a feel thing honestly.

I have purchased Yoko Advan dB V551 (185-65-R15) for Rs.8,150/- each from Metro Gulshan e Iqbal for my Suzuki Swift. Very soft & light. Better from OEM Bridgestone Turanza (185-60-R15).

Got genuine Dunlop Sp Touring T1 195/65/R15 91H for my JDM swift. They look awesome, the steering does feel slightly heavier though. They don't touch the body anywhere even when I fully turn inward or outward, so haven't had that issue. But, whenever I go over a big bump or a pothole at a considerate speed which causes the shocks to go down fully, I hear a slight nudge as if the tyres touched the shields for a moment. But that sound can only be produced on purpose, amidst normal driving conditions I haven't faced any problems except the steering getting slightly heavier for short turns. The Tyres look awesome, the car has gained considerable height without looking awkward, doesn't touch any speed breakers or anything now, and handles wonderfully. I'm pretty satisfied, I don't know if there would be any issues on the PKDM Swift with this Tyre size, but with the JDM they're good.

Does new Swift from factory come with General Tires or they are still coming with Bridgestone Turanza?

I am also looking for Pirelli for my Swift. Since its company fitted tyre is 185/60/15 and Pirelli is available in 185/65/15. So does this 60 to 65 will make any major/minor difference?

Please guide and recommend.

Will improve the overall clearance ..from speed breakers and deep pots on the road ..however will effect a bit on the average as well ..

Don't go fkr Pirelli. They are too hard and you'll feel each bump in your bodyTBH. I've used Pirelli P1 and replaced them after 25k almost.

Hi everyone,

I have to finalize tyres for swift. I am still not sure that which one to go for, since BG Turanza is not available in Market.
Suzuki has Yokohama E70B that they quoted for 15,000 each. I am not sure if it worth going for. I also came to know about General BG Trako, which at least is available in 185/60/15, and apparently looks good.

Any suggestions on Yokohama or General?
