It is third world countries Landcrusier, regardless of anything. INDIA, Pakistan, Thailand are the only countries to offer such vehicles to ghareeb admi. They maybe shit cars they offer unmatched utility if you know where to use them MINUS comfort. Even a Suzuki Swift is more comfortable then a Fortuner.

Agree, a brand new Toyota SUV with all Toyota benefits minus comfort which can be solved via aftermarket suspension.

What tyre pressure are you driving on? if its more than 28, drop to 28 and see if it helps.

Aftermarket suspension kits might be helpful, locally Lengender GR kits are available but better to see if you can import something better e.g. good adjustable/tunable suspension kit. Avoid the famous IronMan, OldMan Emu offroad lift kits.

Please change the tyres and drop the tyre pressure to 28psi. The stock tyres indus puts on these are probably the worst tyres in the world! Tyre change has made a very big difference in ride quality for me.

Driving on low pressure will and surely become a fatal mistake, there is nothing more dangerous than driving on low pressure tires. The excessive flexing of the sidewall creates so much heat that the rubber literally crumbles internally.

i have fortuner legender and its uncomfortable too but u get used to it, if you get the ironman or ARB oldman emu shockabsorbers like i did for my 2017 Revo Hilux, it did made difference but very minimal like it got 10-15% comfort than original ride, later i got ARB oldman leafspring tht made the biggest difference at the back seats.

If you want to make it softer get those comfort shock absorbers like TRD, ARB Oldman emu or Ironman, most of them are happy by changing it but keep in mind Toyota Fortuner have ladder chasis so it will never be comfortable as other SUV like PRado, Landcruiser or even locally made crossover.

i did changed the tires once i got delivery from toyota dealer but keep in mind setting the pressure to 28psi is not good idea as it can reduce the life of tires and create the pressure on sidewall also your tire tread pattern get uneven.

Contact Unichip pakistan they are offering soft suspension package may this help you in comfortable drivability or sell it and buy the GR variant if it’s not GR variant as some saying GR is little comfortable compare to previous model.

He can just get new shocks which comes in GR.
GR got kyb monoshocks.
Instead of going for those I would rather suggest him to go for ironman or ARB shocks.

The absolute best would be to get a set of bilstein b6 (not pocket freindly though), they have the best performance par none even after years and years of driving.

KYB aftermarket is useless, might as well get china maal.
