The engine is saved. No damages Alhamdulillah. The hose pipe came off after i stopped for a break. The moment car came to a halt, white smoke started to come off from the bonnet, the coolant was flowing down the road.
Hyundai dealership has clamped the same pipe back and topped up the coolant in warranty. My concern with them is that how can a vital part such as the radiator hose pipe just come off and can put the engine of the vehicle at risk. They say maybe the pipe was loose, but again the vehcile had 3000 kms on odo, if it was loose, it could have come off before. What should i demand from them to do? Replace the hose pipe?
I did gave alot of pedal while climbing up on the murree expressway. Went to dino valley in islamabad the same morning. But still, the hose pipes shouldnt be coming off like that. It has caused a major concern in my mind on the reliability of the vehicle.
