I have a 1.6 Gli A/T 2012

Can anyone guide me coz I might be going forward to install the SHADOW E Drive.... so is the unichip more costlier then that...
and can it switch back to normal...meaning do i get a switch or button or something to convert it to ECO then SPORTS and then back to normal.... ???

Also Ny heads up about the SHADOW would be appreciated...

@MAXTORQUE can answer all your technical quries. He has already installed it in a 1.6 corolla variant. The results are really good in the 1.6 trim. Unichip also comes with a slector knob/switch by which you can select 1 out of total 5 (i think) tuned drive options for your car. Moreover, Maxtorque was also planning to get a bluetooth module by which you can then select the driving profiles through your bluetooth eneabled mobile/handset. I am also waiting for that module :D......Maxtorque Bahi......Sun rahay hain na
It has an added advantage of car security also. When getting off the car select a profile through your mobile that wont start the car and you've got a ECU controlled anti theft system......Lolz......how's that?
I dont know much about the Shadow E drive so pardon me but I guess its just a cars throttle opening controller. Unichip is way more advance and a totally different product. I am waiting for Maxtorque to come back to Pakistan in a week or two, then My car will get a final fine tune. If you want, you can come over there and have a test drive on my car and see it in person.

Shadow E is the e-throttle controller...it doesnt change ur car current map....Unichip Q+ n Shadow E r two different things

You dont need the shadow E. Unichip is a far more superior product. Will do the work for shadow E and custom maps as well. It has a lot of other tuning options as well (fuel adjustments etc). Still waiting for @MAXTORQUE to answer your quries.

Some comparison charts...before ...or after... coz from the scanning of this thread I have presumed that its been tested on a GLi 1.3 just to improve the sluggishness. ..that can be fixed just by installing the E drive Throttle controller. .any brand. . No cutting of wires or etc just plug nd play... available from USD 45 to 150USD...

Prices are not quoted because they are and cannot be fixed for every car. Price depends on various factors such as amount (variables) of tuneUp you want for your car, engine power, devices you want in the car....etc. I got mine in 40K which also includes special launch discount of 5K. Cant say how much it would cost you.
