Bro as per my information, Alhaj FAW will continue its FAW line up alongwith Proton cars, Proton is going to have a separate Assembly plant with Partnership with Alhaj, so it will be a separate company Alhaj-Proton, Alhaj FAW has already assembly line up in Karachi for FAW light and heavy vehicles for which they have invested heavily, and as per their initial statement about Proton they will sell the Proton cars alongwith FAW cars in existing dealership network, and I think it cannot be done without consent of FAW China, so I don't see discontinuation of FAW light vehicles in Pakistan, yes may be they do not bring any new models of FAW and keep them limited to XPV and V2 but selling multiple brands under same dealership is not bad idea, it opens doors for new investors and good for expansion and survival of existing dealers. So just like Chinese motorcycles we have now a pretty good competition and variety in Chinese vehicles as well definitely low cost options.
