my uncle has purchased Alto new shape @ Rs. 725000/- from Karachi. Vehicle will reach Islamabad within a week.

In my personal opinion it is ok to buy and run such cars for first 4-5 years. Then sell them off as they start developing problems and engine, suspension or body parts (mirrors, window glass, emblems etc) are not available or are expensive to buy. These cars look attractive but can become a burden later on. If you really want one then buy, drive for 3-4 years and sell off at what ever price you get. Decision is yours. :-#

japan imports are really impacting sales of the local industry. most of the client of local industry are banks and other companies, who dont have a policy to give an imported car to their employees. the best part of these imports is(not talking abt the less common ones) that their spare parts are not only readily available in market but are also cheap too there is a reason b/c most of their parts are being imported as scrap now if u had an accident u go to shershah and buy the headlight for just 2-4k unlike locally assembled cars like rolla or cvc. then is the price, price of an alto has hiked to 725k(not sure) while a standard Nissan AD is somewhere b/w 745k to 800k it can also support cng b/c it has the exact same engine as sunnys FF CNG.

I am planning to purchase Toyota Fielder 2006, Just need to know about availabilty of its spare parts from local pakistani markets. Are they easily available and what they cost, I mean, do they cost more or equal to pakistani car's parts.

Also plz sugest that should I go for Fielder or New GLI, coz their price are almost near.
