Quite interestingly, Corolla Cross (38.86 lac) is much cheaper than 12th gen corolla sedan (45.4 lac) in South Africa. They're even selling 11th gen (31.85 lac) in parallel.

Corolla cross gonna be a great addition , but the prices will definitely be higher than the likes of sportage and tucson. And hybrid will be even higher , may be 65 plus.

Think Corolla cross hybrid would be in 4.5 to 5 mil range and that’s the max where it can succeed.

I’d jump at it in no time if it’s less than 5 mil.

Dont even think about it in that price range , its as big as sportage. Think a million more at least.

Hybrid will easily be 6 million plus or even 6.5.

NO , Corolla Cross slots below Rav4 and sits above CHR as far as Toyota model lineup . Corolla Cross has smaller footprint especially if we bring in the newer generation of Sportage. Sportage competes Rav4. Corolla Cross right competitors is actually KIA Seltos in overseas market.

Indus will offer Cross as Hybrid and it will cost above Sportage BUT it does not make it direct rival to Sportage if we see international market. Corolla Cross in our region with 1.8L Hybrid has total power output of 121Hp while the non hybrid 1.8L is around 139HP. Cross is also not available in AWD for ASEAN.

USDM Corolla Cross has 2L NA 169HP and also an option of AWD, still it does not compete Sportage in North America.

compare it to IONIQ on offer fro Nishat and you will get the idea.

Cross in Bahrain is 10.5k (4.8 million approx) and hybrid is 12.5k (5.7 million approx) and that is RAV4 territory. so it depends.

Local manufacture will mean cross hybrid between 6 to 7 million easy.

Non hybrid 5.2 M
Hybrid 6.0 M

Local production has done wonders for the sales of Corolla Cross in South Africa. Since it is produced inside SA and not assembled, they have been able to price it astonishingly low (much lower than the sedan) and wait times for new bookings are up to 3 months.

NA* Corolla Cross starts from just 4.1mn PKR and goes up to 4.9mn while hybrid models are between 4.8-5.2mn PKR.

Hopefully, Indus' $150mn investment into rolling out hybrid vehicles from its plant results in more localization and consequently, better prices in Pakistan too.

Just to add that model is with 2L engine / 169HP. Also available in AWD.

I meant Naturally aspirated. Should've been more clear.
And if I remember correctly, North America doesn't have hybrid version of Corolla Cross yet.
