They will have have to discontinue 1.3 variants or at least introduce better engine than 2nzfe. The new corolla will be very underpowered if they still use 2nzfe.

The 2.0 engine in the new-gen Corolla is a direct-injection engine. Performs very well in combination with the new gearbox which has a physical gear with the CVT for initial acceleration. Whether Pakistan's fuel suits direct-injected engines is a different matter.

Actually Yaris sedan is smaller and much lighter than Corolla , its based on vitz chassis , you can say its a vitz with a trunk, 2nzfe will be perfect for it power to weight ratio wise.

The reality is that Honda's 1.5 Turbo is also Direct Injection and is noticeably faster, has better economy and is cheaper to register, has lesser WHT and also lesser Token Tax.

That billboard is supposed to have chrome inserts in higher trims along with different headlights(like current grande) and chrome around the foglamp area which makes the front end look a lot better.

This placement of MID screen looks hideous though...other than this, interior looks pretty decent.
For exterior, the car seems to be torn between upper half and lower half...lower half including front grills, headlights and bumpers look very sporty and aggressive but the upper half shape is same old dull and lazyish !!!
And the best part, it would be easy for sehgal motors guys to introduce a 150 or 200K package to convert current gen into newer one...seems like Saaaaaa'ad is working with Toyota 🤣🤣🤣

This tacked-on infotainment screen trend needs to die very soon. Disturbs the natural flow of the interior and looks like an after thought.
