Companies generally try to move customers towards their higher end or premium segment as profit margins are higher in those segments. And I highly doubt anyone looking to buy Grande would even consider Yaris as an alternative.

No I don't think so.... Even these tyres are not stock... These are the ones which come as Stock with Altis and Grande, Yokohama A460 which have a totally different tread pattern. To me these pictures seem to be from someone who has tried to make an effort to facelift his car on his own sometime took these pictures. If I'm not wrong, the tyres on the picture you uploaded seem to be Dunlop's, altis gets the yokos I uploaded
