Dear All, Asalaam Alaikum, I need help with my Inverter / battery issue, about 2 years back I bought Homage Neqn 1003 and Exide battery (195 or 200 something, don't remember the model) after 6 month backup time reduced drastically, took it to the inverter shop, they said it's battery problem, one cell is damaged, they sent it to company for warranty repair / replacement
They gave me new Volta dry battery to test for week, it worked for few days and then same low backup (15-20 minutes on single fan and energy saver), then they gave me AGS GX165 in replacement, same happens with it, once again I sent both inverter and battery to shop, they sent inverter to Homage service center for check, they said its fine just replace battery connector as they are catching carbon, shop guy checked battery and said its perfect, he charged it and sent back.
But problem is still there, when it was giving full backup, battery charging took 2 hours plus time, but now it cut off charging in half an hour and show it as full, on backup it show 3 bars for half an hour and then suddenly drop to 1 bar and start beeping, need expert advice about it, is inverter need charging voltage / amperes adjusted? Please help?
