highway 16 kmpl with ac @ 120 - 140 kmph
and 19+ kmpl with ac @ 100 - 120 kmph (without much aggressive acceleration)

Remember this figure is achieved with out hyper-mailing & 100%AC & 100% inter city driving along with stop over up to 10 to 15 min, as I wont switch off car & AC if family is in, and I need to buy bread for some other stuff with in 10 to 15 minutes.

saw above post , mehran doing 12km/L with out AC:P so here comes @jaggi Honda city steermatic, yes the figure is 507.6km achieved in 39.8Ltr.with 100%AC and 100% intercity driving & some times over speeding(120+) , but usually with light foot in between 80 to 100km/h.

average/Ltr 12.75km

cost:7rs/km

Honda City Vario 2005.

i dont have exact figues but i filled in petrol for 1000rs and it gave me 120-122kms.

i filled petrol when the yellow light came and then again the yellow light came after i did 121.6kms..

can the average be improved? if yes, how?

i usually drive on very low foot. i dont like speeding. slow and steady is good

my corolla 2.0d 2006 does 13km in city with ac and on long rout 15-16 which i think is best for 2000cc engine

didn't check exactly but mine did 35km in the petrol of rs 300. with Ac off. and last night it did 65km in the fuel of rs 500. totally on light foot. car is civic 95 with d15z6 vtec with long ram air intake
