I contacted some sources at Kel and they confirmed about the route clearance...so, you can carry on your preparation. Hopefully a couple of weeks will clear the situation more enough:)

bcoz hotel owners usually misguide as they need tourists, once we called ptdc naran in May and asked them whether jeep track to lake saifulmuluk and road to batakundi/lalazar was open, he said yes but when we went there only then we came to know k 'hand hogya hai'

Yes, thats why I quoted the last sentence "Hopefully a couple of weeks will clear the situation more enough". I tried to contact the reliable person but couldn't succeed to have a contact. However from same number got some info which will be confirmed/cleared with in next few days

my main concernis that there are some large glaciers .... no snow so ppl just say that its clear ... well i wil also try to get in touch with someone there..... mayb get a confirmationof rashid bhais info..............

One of my friends visited Toabutt in 3rd week of April last year. So, first week of May should be fine.

Shounter Valley will open late though.

I was also planning to go Taobut on 1st May but the bad news is road is closed as this year we have more snow than before and still there is glaciers on the way to Taobut so no chance of taobut in 1st week of May

Not advisable.
You should park you car at Keran and hire jeep.
