Not a big problem if they are dented and repaired. Most of the cars have their auction sheets with them. Ppl have started buying paki made cars back in early 90's. Before that ppl use to buy british cars, us import japanese imports and ppl were pretty satisfied with it.

You drive a cultus. The day you will keep a JdM. You will never buy a Paki made car ever again. Tje experience would be different.

Lastly, this advise is coming from someone whose family is keeping since 1910, the British Raj. If you want me to upload pics, i will do that. From Wolsely to vaxhaul, from Brougham to Australian made land Rover Defender. Nobody had a Prado or land cruiser back then here in Pak.

Close your eyes, buy a clean JDM. Inspect and then buy.

You don't get a brand new Corolla for 28 lacks, neither you can find a fresh import Prius Alpha for this amount.

A Pakistani driven Japanese import isn't a very good option.

Else a fresh import Prius Alpha is beyond anything available in the local market.

EDIT: Its not about accidental or a S grade import its about maintaining these JDM machines. We don't have people equipped to maintain hybrids here in Pakistan. These cars cannot survive on jugars

Thats where u are wrong....90% dont have the auction sheet or they are tampered or the cars are meter reversed as soon as they got out of the containers.

Do u know all those who bought Jdms hybrids because of the "built quality" are now standing in shops cursing their purchase....pls search on PW as sir Capsat mentioned in post#07.

I hav had kept 3 jdms sold within 6 months each and will never ever drive one again

Its just a suggestion , but if you need a big car for family aka 7 seats (altho last 2 seats are just enough for small kids) have you considered a BRV? Has all the benefits of being a local assembled car , as well as awesome ground Clarence.

No not considered brv as I've been advised by ppl who owned or are having brv not to consider it. Main reasons are bad fuel economy, compromised 3rd row seats, second row for 2 ppl not 3, bad pickup etc.

I don’t think there’s much difference between alpha’s 3rd row leg space and BRV’s. Other than that, alpha pretty much beats BRV in every aspect. My advice is that if you plan on keeping it for more than 3 years, go for a locally assembled car. But if you somehow can’t get your head around dumping all the alpha’s options and luxuries, buy it very carefully and then if you’re satisfied with it, keep it.

Actually alot of ppl buy hybrids without proper diagnosing them which is wrong. Once should carry out its complete inspection and then buy it. If you think you will keep a hybrid like A suxuki mehran then things are not going to work.

You may be able to find a 2012/13 Prius Alpha in this budget. My experience of both the cars in question : Prius Alpha is way too superior; both technologically, utility,fuel consumption, maintenance and comfort wise, specially if you can find a "G Touring" full option car which is out of this world model !!

I couldnt read thru the whole thread so excuse me for that, having owned and driven both Prius Alpha & BR-V, the latter is an SUV & has better clearance. AND THAT is THE ONLY pro for BR-V & Alpha beats the heck out of BR-V in every aspect besides that. Even a used Alpha will offer much more utility, the real catch is finding a genuine car with original clicks & a verifiable auction sheet. Never buy any JDM car if you have to compromise on these things. As for Grande if you can manage your routine with it, I will suggest it instead of a BR-V, which for me an underpowered SUV with low quaility bulild with no special features, which should not be bought UNLESS you find no other option in your budget.
