New shackels were installed last week, but could not update.
Old shackels looks similar to Rickshaw Shackels.
We have increased the leght to gain hight.

Fouad, perhaps early to say but shackles look cool but are just too big for my taste and experience if you are planning ever to gun the car on the road.... You are underestimating what stress 260HP would put on the car suspension and what the caster angle is gonna be like after these.... The stock "rickshaw" shackles work best in controlling body sway and you could possibly go with the slightly longer shackles but things can get scary quite easily. Just sharing my experience having played around a bit here!

Actually before setting up the engine and the gear to their final position we wanted to adjust the height by installing the longer shackels on the front and rear, we do understand the risk of which you are talking about, but we have increased only 2 inches from the stock.
The shackels themselves are made and seems bigger in the size but infact only 2 inches have been increased to gain elevation and ground clearance. My purpose is offroad and no high speeding around town. Aur boss try kernay mein kiya jata hai on top of that I have plans to install 35s or 37s in this so it was mandatory to increase shackle height.
Also I have plans to uplift body from the frame. Pls comment…..

You are right try karney mein koi harj nahin. Stock shackles dont cost too much and are rather quick to replace. Nevertheless, I am not a fan of shackle lifts / body lifts and I am not sure what real benefits ground clearance brings in our sort of offroading. You say now that you will not speed around town, but once all the work is done and you finally get the car on the road ..... Its just quite impossible to resist gunning the V8 driving down a straight empty road and these shackles (even with aftermarket polyurethane bushes) will make it difficult to keep the car going in a straight line mainly because the caster angle is thown out of the window as you lift the FJ. Caster correction shims will help but only upto a certain height, these shackles seem way too high at the moment.... Anyways all the best for the future and its best to learn by trying it once as long as you are aware of whats going on!

BTW the rear shackles you can possibly get away with but its the front that is the problem owing to steering caster and body sway!

If you want a higher left you something you can look into is having longer leafs at the front with slightly shorter shackles to maintain stability. The 1UZ has two primary versions the more common pre 95 OBD I:

.....and post 95 OBDII VVTI one which looks more like the 2UZ:

The newer VVTI has an electronic accelerator pedal (drive by wire) which can be a pain to match up unless you have a matching accelerator assembly, nevertheless its doable albeit will cost 20k extra. Most of these engines also have a immobilizer which needs to be unlocked for another 15k or something. The con of the older engine is that its slightly difficult to find a clean one in Pakistan, nevertheless the part availability is there to a large extent....

Whichever version you get make sure that you get a deal with the kabaria in the sense that he will guarantee to replace/provide any parts that you may need even if you have to pay more upfront. Some parts which can be problematic on older engines are Air Flow Sensor (AFM), wiring connectors, ECU, AC compressor and power steering pump.....

Most importantly make sure that the wiring for any engine you get is as much "there" as possible. On older models there are a number of variants and you should please make sure that (i) Wiring (ii) AFM and (iii) ECU are from the same engine model otherwise it can be a major issue.....

I have a few questions for you. I started working on a project myself. I need some info on the diff to use along a 1uzfe with auto tranny. The project is not a 4x4 its a RWD sedan (not disclosing the vehicle for now :p). I've been looking for diff's, ive tried explaining
what an LSD is to people here but they fail to understand what it is. The question is which diff to go for and how to identify the diff? Where to find the code?

I know the final welding is to be completed, but the engine mounting bracket looks slightly weak,should ideally be boxed. Do look into strengthening these a bit further (maybe triangulate the L shape into a D or something) as they come under serious stress....
