Why is it that the one's you link from Flickr are much higher quality than others ?
The Flickr ones are taken with a DSLR. The others are P&S or iPhone photos.

How frequent is deer and moose collision overall ?
Lots of deer around. Insurance claims are higher in rutting season, and near top in national rankings for deer strikes. Moose are up around the Adirondacks and further north, not around here.

Feeding the beast, $71.41 for just over half a tank. It takes a little under 30 gallons for a full tank.
What a sweet little gem for only $1400. 1989 Suzuki GS500E, all original except the rear view mirrors and exhaust, only 13,606 miles on it. Runs like a top!
