There is something very calm and soothing about the woods covered in deep snow. The colors are muted and the silence is very noticeable, and whatever sounds there are, are muffled, apart from the odd crack of a twig. And there is no desolation but life, with deer and foxes and rabbits, and many more creatures leaving their marks in the snow.
Yes, I like walking in the snow. It is refreshingly cleansing for the mind and soul.
