Automotive designs of bygone days seem a little absurd at least to my aesthetic sense. From 60s onwards things began to improve. It reached it's pinnacle in the 90s and now today it is again beginning to look a little absurd. It started from being too round and curvy and now the lines are too sharp and 'wedge' like. Thanks for this detailed coverage.
Automotive designs, like most things, are cyclical. It is always interesting to me to look back and compare.
