any one have latest information of what will the court further do?and when it will be finally decided?i already have one cleared under amnesty scheme.and now planning to buy another rare gem which i found today.please update me if any one have information that when it will be decided as i cant wait to buy a new jeep cleared in this scheme.
what i think is that this case will go in favor of customers because confiscation of these vehicles is next to impossible.but lets see what court decides.please update me if any one have confirm information of what and when final decision will come

when u got ur vehicle registered, did you also get the registration book? because i just got the registration done, and they are saying that since a detailed court order has not been issued, they will only give me a chalaan which says that i have paid the said amount, and until a court notification has been issued, i shall not get a registration book, and the excise department will also keep the original file.

These cars are being registered in Punjab for sure as I got mine registered on 28th June. Not sure about Islamabad.

Nope, I haven't got the registration book. But registration book gets some time. Got my cousin's Belta registered in 1st week of March and got the book at the end of May. I think they are trying to get more bribe out of you. If they haven't got the detailed court order then how come they are registering the vehicles. Not sure about the return file though. Return file is to be returned to the owner and if they are going to keep it then I'll ask them for a legal document proving that they are keeping it. Although I saved 10k commission but later I handed the receipt copy to my agent as its not possible for me to go there again and again. I am in touch with him and will let u know once I get registration book.

islamabad excise deptarment nay to abhi tak registration nahi start ki... they were sayin vo stay order sirf punjab ky lye hai. what about federal ??? aisay hee confusion create ki hui hai. itna bara issue ha aor koi bh aisay properly nahi dakh raha.
i dun think so ky aisi decsions ky baad koi forgein investment aye gi pak main..
next month Ihc kahay ga ky hybrid par q duties etc maaf ki hen...

i see many regestred with isb plates
i got to say these cars are cheap to begin with but u goota do some stuff to them before they are even driveable
engine needs work and some time i see full body spray on those cars then lights then this so cost adds up and the car in price is identical to what u would buy a normal car for that price
so no faida

Court has asked FBR to confiscate the vehicles and auction them. But again Lahore High Court has issued the stay order over the matter. Lets see what happens. I haven't got the car papers yet and now E&TO will have another excuse to get more money out of the end-user before Eid.

FBR had said it would file intracourt appeal after the detailed verdict is out. I am not sure if FBR would do it or not but in Lahore these cars are being registered on stay order from Lahore High Court. The owners of these vehicles went to the court for stay order. I think owners from Islamabad should file the case too against this decision and should put forward Lahore High Court's decision in this regard.
