Nahi bhai gas sy geyser chalana hai non stop 24 hours. Yeah gas ziyah nhi hai.

all of you are divers professionally ??? industry is directly related to everyone,,,,,,,, come on! industry have to run,,,,,we dont have much money to explore more gas or you can say government officers are corrupt ,,,,so we have to save this precious fuel for industry and economy rather having cheap trips to murree and "susraal" on cng

so you mean we should put a wind turbine on ev textile factory in pakistan? do you think faisalabad is so windy? or we should convert them to solar? its hell expensive,,,,,come on!!!!!!! bro! the only well explored and cheap fuel in pakistan we have is natural gas,,,,, and the only way we can make lemonade out of this lemon is through energy,,,,by selling cheap textile products in the world and increasing forex reserves annnnnd creating jobs through industrialization ,,,,thats what thailand and china and vietnam did,,,though not ev one of them hav plenty of gas

bro jinko gari sasti chalane ka shauk hai they dont care factories band hoti hain unemployement hoti hai and what ever. due to gas shortage my factory has to bear almost 4 lacks additional lpg bill per month but humare bhai gari toh chala lein !

Pakistani logic is that methane gas should be wasted in inefficient scrap metal worth obsolete, poor running passenger car engines in which ONE car carries ONE passenger.

You can extract more energy out of this methane if you made electricity from it,

I personally say to "ditch that too" you see that coal in the ground, dig the quarry up, burn the rock and make some "bijli" - to hell with the environmental laws - people ditch cats everyday from their cars, dump raw sewage into drinking water etc etc etc. so what difference would some coal make.

Bhai ssaray easy ho jao! Majority of CNG pumps are owned by parliamentarians, so they won't do any such thing. These impractical suggestions of CNG price increase come from the beaurucrats because they or their families never pay for gas, cars, utilities and housing.

over this forum before elections i shared a news item, CNG will be banned for transport sector before end of 2013. The gas will be supplied to power generating companies to produce more power, to run industries for better production improve on employment means better living conditions for masses.

making it expensive instead of slamming a flat ban is progress towards the idea.

i'm in favor of CNG be banned for transport sector. a person who can buy a 2 million+ valued hondas & toyotas shall have enough flow of resources to cater for liquid fuel, if not , then stay in your PJays and use mehran euro 2 or KEI class JDMs on liquid fuel. Keep shashka inside your perimeter walls.

its over 2 years now my unit is dead down machinery sold due to power & gas shortage. Boiler runs on gas, machine runs on power and both utilities are GONE. all labour un-employed,. I don see any development or progress policy laid down by successive administration in this respect either.

people like ghayas paracha & abdus sami khan (chief of cng pump owner association) are mouth piece of enemies to industries providing employment to masses in pakistan.

petrol is costly yar.....my gli ecotec is doin 110-120kms full time acc in local while 200-220kms @highway...Next if cng goes off then I think next car I would buy will be Corolla Hybrid or Civic Hybrid!!!
Corolla Hybrid launched in Japan giving 35km/l......
Hope that Indus will launch Hybrid Version in next 11th gen corolla after 2,3,4 years.............
Similar expectations from Honda Atlas to launch civic Hybrid!!!

If govt instead of exporting oil extracted from various oil fields in the country in pursuit of heavy commission, provide all the supply to the people of this country, then we wont need to import oil at international market rates
Allah has blessed our beloved country with every blessing like gold, oil, minerals, best fruits and vegetables and cotton and the list is never ending but our governments do not provide these to the people
If govt stops the export of oil and reduce the price to Rs 60 or 55 i guarantee that every person in the country who owns a cng vehicle will definitely shift back to petrol.

Yes I agree with that. Vehicles should only be allowed to use petrol and diesel while gas should only be used in Industries. Also there should be an aid I the vehicle driving fuel such as Ethanol which can be produced from sugar can easily like Brazil is doing and work on photo cell is also going on. But gas is like a liability of industries on us.

its little tricky to answer and bit brainy to understand -

a house gas expense during summer is Rs. 500 and in winters 1200 ~ 2000
while One CNG fill in a 55 kg cylinder is 500+ at current price and it runs only 100kms
- now -
a toyota hiace with 4 CNG cylinders top up in Rs. 3000 avrg. - runs for 275 kms & fills approx 3 times per 12 hour shift - means Rs. 9000.00 per 12 hours.
in ideal condition of 24/7 per 30 days gas that hiace alone consume Rs. 270,000 worth gas providing job to only 6 people ( 3 drivers & 3 helpers) per month.

a cottage industry with a 18000 btu boiler consumes approx Rs. 2975 gas per 24 hours running 3 shifts 8 hours each, 12 people per shift means 36 individuals making money.

2975 x 30 = Rs. 90,000 - 100,000 gas expense to run a boiler now do the maths please -

6 people employed with transport Hi-ace at gas fuel cost of Rs. 270,000 per month

36 people employed at fuel cost of Rs. 90,000 per months in an industry -

against fuel expense of 270,000 6 people feeding their families - against 90,000 36 people are supporting their families plus industry paying multiple taxes to exchequer

so which sector shall get gas - transport or industry.??
