Worth it for Vespa. But too expensive for a middle class.
They should rework on the pricing or make a deal with govt. for leniency on duties. Else ye ek khuwab hi rahega ...

. I was told by aprilia pakistan sister of vespa and Derbi that one can book it for 50 percent down payment and rest paid at the time of delivery .

The problem with new Vespas is that they no longer come with manual transmission! ALL Piaggio Vespa models have CVT transmissions now. Vespa has COMPLETELY abandoned manual transmission for some odd reasons.

With CVT; all you've to do is just twist the throttle and off you go!

They've no clutch, no gear lever, no fun, no drama, no adrenaline, no pain, no gain, no happiness, no excitement, no delirium, no zeal, no zest, no exhilaration, no emotion, no intensity, no thrill, no adventure, no passion, no...

Well, you get the idea.

Don't get a CVT Scooter. They're so awfully boring that you might fall asleep riding it and crash into a tree or something.

Avoid.

Anyways got response from offical vespa management and it seems very troubling to me .so I have decided not to further pursue the scooter option .

It is a massive shame to know that Official Vespa will not come to Pakistan. The Scooties from United and Superpower here are probably not that good and cost a hell lot more than they should !

Hopefully will be sharing my experience with vespa scooters on this thread or maybe if their is demand I will make my own thread . My vespa is coming around 6-10 March in white color .
