In karachi there are also becoming a shortage of Vespa mechanics, because people nowadays prefer 70cc bike over it, most of the mechanic s have started bike work, but still there are a no. of experts here that can rebuilt a Crushed VESPA is such a way that you won't recognize it, even my VESPA is once upon a time broken into 2 pieces due to rust, but now you can't even find its welding points etc, its drive is also good,
I have tested its top speed, but not more than 95km/hr, but patrol is also limited(I mean minimized by mechanic), my VESPA is giving me 45km/ltr in City, don't know at hihgways(because I don't have hosla to test it on a highway;))
TWo biggest advantages of VESPA that a motorcyclist always dreams are that:
1- No chain in between the engine & wheel like 70cc, so no chain work required,
2- Spare wheel is with it, so no need to make khwari to search tyre shop like the Motorcyclists:P
