Trip to Hiran Minar proved to be a great test ride whereby not only we had an active highway riding experience but we also got to know a lot about the capabilities of our Vespas...and also it surely told us what spare parts and tools to be kept always with us on longer rides
This short ride of about 130 KMs in extremely hot and harsh conditions surely gave us some flavor of what we should expect on our Vespidition on Karakorum Highway...we had our work cut out for us as we desperately needed to learn some basic DIY skills and needed to have a hands on experience of rectifying small mechanical issues ourselves
