Day 1, 29.05.2016
Mansehra to Besham

We were over excited. Started the day early, I guess we were on road at around 7 am...

To our utter joy a couple of local kids (Jawad, Hammad and Irfan) came to greet us...the expressions on their faces "what the hell are these things and why can't you travel like sane normal people do"

They were kind enough to offer us breakfast which we politely declined as we were too eager to hit the road...

It was slightly cloudy when we started our ride, after about hardly 10 kms it started raining and quite heavily

Bilal was leading the way and @Ahmz was by my side (me being the slowest rider so he was keeping me company and making sure I was using proper gears)...

We rode about 20 mins in rain and then we spotted Bilal standing under a shade with the engine cover of his sprint off

No matter how much you prepare...it's only when you actually ride on the planned route you come to know of deficiencies, if any...

Apparently, Bilal's Sprint was heating up...so we took our time to investigate and try to rectify the fault

Bilal, Ahmad and Nisar set out to inspect the Sprint while yours truly just enjoyed the rain and snapped a few pics

@Ahmz VBB's hear was getting a stuck a bit and he thought of availing this stoppage time to his benefit and started rectifying the issue...

It was a great hands on DIY training on road at the very start of our trip and I believe it boosted our confidence level quite a bit and mentally prepared us for what we should expect in miles to come
