what u think 2.od is slow .it is slow in pick up but after wards it just smoke the petrol cars.2.0d gives better economy & can pull at its exteme limits when it is full of load but petrol car could not do this .good example is that when u turn on AC on civic then tries to pull in 2nd gear after the speed breaker etc( so u ave to put the petrol car in 1st gear & build up the speed ) civic or any other petrol car will let u fell the loss of power ,while 2.0D or any other diesel car will not let u feel this type of feeling.
u can see every second car COROLLA on road other than suzukis b/c corolla is reliable and strong .good example is that u can find corolla 94 1.3 @ round about 5.8 lac while civic 94 round about 4.25 lac .here is the difference b/c corolla & civic
in my oponion COROLLA is great deal with money & corolla is best (2.0D)

chali go and see again one more thing.

since 94 corolla has just changed 1 new models like it is manufacturing Bentli

where as civic launched in 95-96 then in 99-2000 then 2001 and now in 2003-2004.

and still 94 civic is of 4.25 where as 94 corolla 5.8 (thats tooo much u r over estimating its price)

lolz,,,it the diference between petrol and diesel,,do me a favour start the race with the speed of 60,,then i will see what will happened,,no1 will have the word for that........civic,,dam i hate that cars,,toyota are the best,,i guess they have a good resale
