Will a suzuki mehran sound as good if it had a similar exhaust system as that of those GT3s? I dont think so... an exhaust system merely facilitates the engine's sound producing capabilities...

btw i'm not an expert in such stuff, maybe someone else could answer you better, but thats my understanding...

I'm not comparing porsches to evos or focusi or corollas. But so shouldn't porche by turning a sweet ride into a rally car. Because even if a 911 wins, it doesn't prove anything apart from it being at par with evos and imprezas. That's my point.

The next thing I see is porsche comparing a 911's consumption to a cuore eco's consumption. And we'll be clapping in excitement like idiots just because ''Porsche'' did it.

Just because something can be done doesn't mean it should be done.

The only RWD rally car other than the RS200 and the Stratos I can remember is the Mercedes 450SLC. That thing looked raw...

there were plenty of RWD cars, infact prior to the audi quattro and lancia delta all rally cars were RWD. Also the CE was rallied by MB at the same time as the SLC.
