what car is it? Skoda? if it really is an original convertible then hold on to it but please tell us what car is it? Spitfire is a model name for a certain Triumph so it cant be a mix breed of triumph & Spitfire. VW variant/Skoda/Ford Zephyr/Sunbeam Alpine are more likely culprits....

great pics. where is this Princess now? When did your family sell it. There are two in Karachi with the same guy. Both very well kept. His interview during one of our car shows is a masterpiece where he describes various atributes of Austin Princess. It's a must see.

I remember one "Princess" in the process of restoration in Rawalpindi - about 5 years ago. Don't know whatever happened to it. Just lost touch with all the good things happening in Pak.

Chor do us garee ko...if its ur first project..trust me u dont want that...all parts are going to be sourced from california and its going to cost u well more than 5-6 lacs for parts....and then theres the labour and skill and knowledge...start with something like a classic 60's beetle..

A friend of mine bought it from after a long fight...i never wanted to sell it but he went to my dad and he couldn't say no as he was my best buddy (May Allah bless his soul and give him a place in Heaven)....after my friend's death his brother in law took it and later sold it to Rocco Ice Cream Family and after that nothing was heard about it...

I wish i could show u my dad's and grandfather's collection (which is long gone)...lemme look into some old pics and c what i can get for u guys.....

My Grandfather and Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi were the biggest customers of GM Motors in Indo Pak....Mr Daas who owned the GM Motors in Indo Pak, Rai Bahadur Mohan Singh Oberoi who was the founder of Oberoi Hotels and my Grandfather were the Best Buddies......

@punk..haseeb bhai..the car you have posted is not a triumph spitfire but it is I think "SUN BEAM TIGER" with some very bad front and rear modifications and yes it is original convertable.I know a guy having a"sunbeam alpine"in lahore with corolla engine rest is original but again its not for sale....as is the case with most classic cars...
