I wouldnt mind to give my split kombi for official use of VCCCP Mohsin bhai is my role model for generosity, apart from that I can buy Samad's truck for the restoration and official use of the club although I am not part of the club

now don't embarrass me. When it comes to cars I love I can be as selfish as anyone on this planet earth. Cars that you own and love, are alomost like wives that you don't want to share - some cars are like mistresses and you don't mind letting a friend use it too, lol.

I 'd like to have that camper in our show no matter what condition it is in. Space permitting, I would like to have a corner for unrestored / project cars to show ppl how we turn junk into jewels. Everybody on this thread, whether they own a classic or not are a part of VCCCP. We'll start taking in members officially soon and I will inform you all.

What we can do is that we will show micro split and samad truck ( will assemble the truck to a prsentable position) and will show in a show and in a next show we will show both vehicles in restored condition

If we are planning to start open a membership then we should have some denters,painters and electrician and a space for restoring the project cars, because not every mechanic or denter can work on these cars

 I like the EXCELLENT idea of displaying some of the project cars in the VCCCP show. And Safeer's idea of showing the Micro 'as found' and next year as a restored jewel is even better.

People in general do not or rather CAN not appreciate the time, effort, money, blood n sweat that goes into a restoration (take spitfires resto as an example.....a rare labor of love).

Maybe if they see a project vehicle they would appreciate.

I am sure most people coming to the VCCCP shows must be thinking that the cars displayed have been recovered from some dusty old garage or were Parsi owned examples.

I think we should have a bigger arena for hosting this years show. The Forums parking lot was full last year.

It was nice to see Mr Naseem Mughal's unresored grey VW Fastback last year at the show.

Most people stepped back, shook their heads and walked away slowly!

You would probably know already, but unrestored, original well functioning cars are coming back into fashion. Why? Anybody can have a car restored, but an old car in its original state is much harder to come by. I'd like to see some good original cars if I ever saw any. Speaks volumes of the owner.
