definition of classic cars, vintage cars, sports etc. varies within different school of thoughts. I checked the links given by mjabbasi and do not agree with their definition. Here's what i believe is closest to reality:
Edwardian (1876 - 1905); Veteran (1905 - 1918); Vintage (1919 - 1929) & Classic (1930 - 1969).
We could add modern classics for cars such as 1971-77 pontiac Firebird, Porsche 911, Ferrari 512 BB and some others from the '70's, Datsun 240 Z, Toyota Celica 1974, Rolls Royce Corniche (early 1970's), Bentley Mulsanne Turbo 1970's....etc., etc. Cars which are made for the enthusiast in mind are the future classics. Cars which are made with either economy or usefullness in mind are the ordinary cars which are ultimately scrapped. Criticism welcome.
