 The person I was talking about in connection with the Datsun 260C was Danyal, my cousin. The ride of that car is awesome, guess it was Datsun's answer to the Toyota Crown.

   Speaking of liposuction and exercise, I met Dr Imtiaz yesterday and he was fondly referring to you as 'hamara bacha'!! Even he was commenting that your waistline is going out of control. Sorry for a personal comment on a public forum, Im just hoping it would make you consider going back to your 'sporty' and active schedule. We want to see you in good health as you are most important to us and the future of Classics in Pakistan!

The Thai Specials are nice!! Does the gentleman actually make a profit out of the sales?? Id be happy to learn that since I dont think its possible here in Pakistan.

 The Citroens are now a rare sight. Is anyone interested in this marque??  I know of someone having two such cars, one complete and reportedly running and the other as a parts car.

 I think NO classic is 'worth buying' here in Pakistan if you look at it from angle of buy it-fix it-sell it to some enthusiast for a hefty profit.

You can ask about parts availabilty etc so you can anticipate any problems in a planned resto.

I think anything is worth buying for YOU if it pulls a string or two in your heart. Most people regard the VW Beetle as a El-cheapo ride of the ragtag who cannot afford a new car. However as far as Im concerned, it remains my top favorite!

Libra, OMG, did u really drive that Chrysler 180? What a ghastly horrible thing (sorry, tis true). The Citroen CX, now thats a car to kill for! I have never understood the saying, 'to die for'. I mean, whats the sense of dying for something? I could consider Section 302 of the PPC for a pagoda Merc any time..

Have lunch with me on Sunday....offer open to all who want to come but do tell me beforehand so that I can ensure that nobody leaves hungry. I need to lose weight bad....haven't given up yet, give my regards to Dr. Imtiaz. One Citroen is more than enough for me though wouldn't let go of a chance to buy an ID19 or a DS21 or 23. I love 2cv's but somehow they never attracted me to the extent that I buy one. It's one of the most amazing success stories of all time with over 5 million made (all variants). I wonder what happened to the ones at PIA and Tarbela Dam.

Romano had one of the rarest of 2 CV's, a 'Sahara' which was an innovative 4X4 with twin engines....@romano, any pictures? around 600 were made out of which only 27 are known to exist.

Talking of Citroens, my TA is going to be displayed at the French Consul General's House tomorrow. He has a cocktail party at his residence for a French delegation and he wants to surprise them by parking my Traction in the driveway.

In m eyes, any collection is incomplete without a VW Beetle. I would love to own two...the split window beetle and a split bus. The bus will be absolute stock except Porsche 911 wheels and engine

Shipping.. My vessels used to travel from Singapore to Bangladesh.
Phuket was much cheaper maintaining the vessels compare to S’pore

Yes I did… more then 50000 kms it’s a long story to cut it short I called my shipping agent to buy a car for me, told him it should be spacious and comfortable. When I saw the car for the 1st time at HKT airport all I said was “Oh Sh!t. what is this” Traveling in Thailand wasn’t much problem but in Malaysia n S’pore whoever saw the car.. said “Oh Sh!t. what’s this”

You know what, I have been after Omar Leghari for many many years to let me have this car. A couple of years ago he was at my house and I got my son to get after him. I also told him that i want it for my son.....the guy doesnt budge. Once he said if he gets an offer of 55 lacs he 'll consider it. I told him that we 'll sit down with a few latest car magazines and will look for a similar car and I 'll match the price that you can get for it in UK. He was non-committal. Good luck to you man....go for it. I was earlier talking about the Jag Mk II without engine but otherwise complete and in great condition.
