Have a bad news,this buik(1935,36 inline8) sold by nawab to sum1 in karachi and the buyer sold it in dubai sum two months ago.The car was in mint condition,i saw it durin my classic cars exploration trip to dera nawab.its engine was in perfect startin condition and it sounded really koool.

i was after it for 6 months but it waz sold to a kabaria when my uncle specially went to taxila for it,it must have been choppd. Thers a micro split window van in mint condition,i can ask if thts for sale.I can post sum pics of a karmann gia,its in isb and not for sale.heres also an oval.

The person u mentiond as H Kardar,in my knwoldge his name is Sayed Sardar.His ford model T is a 2door therfre it mite be a runabout.And he have the three pontons u mentiond but i waz told by my sources tht he sold them abt 5 years ago.

great posts. Sad that the Buick has been exported. The red oxide Chevy is looking pathetic. I dont mind if the owner converts it into a hotrod but then he should do a proper job...a toyota engine and wheels would only make it a crappy car. Safeer has the right wheels and engine for this car.

Like many I am a silent visitor to the site. But I have read every page and thoroughly enjoyed every post. Thank you for keeping us entertained. A few questions for the specialists! Is the import of vintage cars allowed? If so what is the duty structure? There was a move to restore a few national heritage cars such as Muhammad Ali Jinnah & Fatima Jinnah cars. Is there any update on that? Attached is a photo one of my personal favorites. I doubt there is one in Pakistan. Please do correct me if i am wrong.

welcome to our thread and thank you for your interest and questions. Though I am no expert but I 'll reply to your questions. 1) Import of cars more than 3 years old is not allowed. VCCCP will make an effort to get the government to allow import of classics. 2) Ground work was prepared to start work on Fatima Jinnah's cars, little susti from our side, it got delayed and now the Director Archive has changed so we have to start all over again. We'll wait for the government to settle down. 3) There used to be two Mercedes 300 SL Gullswing in Karachi. both were exported. One was black and one was silver.

The Buick in Red Oxide has since been painted metallic red. its complete and parked in Islamabad. The owner is.....heavily into making fibreglass replicacars.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't it so that you can import a car more than three years old, provided it is on a Transfer of Residence (TR) arrangment? If so, what is the applicable duty structure? Reason I ask is that I want to bring a W123 280CE and a W108 280SE 3.5 to Pakistan with me.

regarding the sale of the buick thats very sad . its pretty hard to swallow that a bunch of aholes are running the country if they have made it a rule that cars older than three years are not premited to enter pakistan they should also make a rule that cars more than a certain age should not be allowed to leave pakistan.
