that 3 carb set up is for a Ford 390 unit...I suggest complete the car as it is - once it's on the road then start working on engine mods...

Talking about bikes, I saw about two dozen Harleys parked at Covent Garden, a few minutes they started them together....man! I could feel the vibrations under my feet

My take on one ..midengined.. great handling... quite quick ....reasonably priced and over here...My MR2 Toyota 1985. now moved to Islamabad.

If Ferrari were to ever make a baby this would be it.

Agree on all points. Spoiler a bit of overkill perhaps?
Would love to do a photoshoot of X!/9 and the Toyota. Both brilliant ideas and stunning lookers, but the Toyota was streets ahead on reliability.
We have a nice X1/9 here, so if the MR2 ever makes a trip this way, let me know

I'd rate a Fiat X 1/9 a notch above the MR2 as it much sleaker of the 2 and has the pedigree....closest thing to a baby ferrari. As far as I know, there were two X 1/9's in pakistan. one in Lahore green color and the other one in Islamabad red color. How about the MX5?

Important news for those interested......this 1980 Citroen 2CV has ended up in Shershah scrapyard and is on death-row! 

Its scheduled to be hacked up into bits tomorrow morning. I spoke to the scrapper owner who agreed to hold it till tomorrow afternoon. He wants Rs 35000 for it.

I took a look at the papers, it has the original book and is in the name of a lady. Taxes unpaid since 2003. Per year has a tax of only 500 Rs so its not too bad.

Any interest in saving this gem????

The scrapper had bought it for his own personal use but didnt get the time, plus he cannot drive himself. According to him it runs and just needs a battery, fuel and maybe some minor tweaking.

Btw, buffs may have noticed the original ragtop sunroof has been modified interestingly to a hardtop. Good news is its reversible.

Thanks for the pics. It seems these are the older models. The tails on this one are different. The headlights are rectangle too, not round.

The documents said 1000cc.
