          About your interest in the VW, yes the one I spoke about is still available. 

Technically it’s not mine but Romano’s car since he is the one who graciously offered the cash to save it from certain death. I had posted the pics earlier on this thread, don’t know which page (dare to search??!!).

It’s a 1968 1300cc Beetle. White color but paint is not of good standard. The body is very straight, ideal for a project car. No evidence of major bangs in the past. Was owned by an old Christian gentleman who grew too old to drive. 

  Three of the four tyres seem very good, one should be replaced for the sake of safety. The engine seems to be in excellent shape with the oil crystal clear. The mechanic whose garage the car is currently at guarantees it as he has worked on this car before. In fact when the car was about to be scrapped he had strongly suggested that I buy the engine to keep as a spare in my 'spare parts bin'.

  The car needs a battery, a brake service (recommended for any stranded vehicle) and some fuel to drive. Maybe a bit of tweaking here and there……. Papers have taxes outstanding from 2003 or 2004, can’t remember exactly.

  Do not know of any ragtops or ovals for sale. There was an Auto about which some pakwheeler wrote a couple of months back. Somewhere near NED University. I guess no one checked it out as no pics were posted here. Another Auto came up for sale in Dawn Classified a few weeks back. Was in the Clifton area but had no time to check it out. I would have been a ‘timewaster’ anyway.

 Whatever happens, Im hopeful your interest leads in a good purchase. It goes without saying that you shall have all the help I could possibly extend every step of the way.

   In my moment of ‘VW excitement’ I forgot to mention some interesting resent events.

  Whoever said the world was a small place was wrong. It’s a very very small place!

   Three or four days ago my parents were at some Savings Centre when they met up with your mom! After a good session of reviving old memories at the same spot, my mom came back to narrate the meeting. She was asking me to take her for visiting your house soon. She was quite shocked when she came to know that I not only knew who you were but were friends!

  Another shock came when my parents and I were passing through the Gizri area yesterday. Mom was explaining the directions of your house to me (!!) when father remarked that he had actually helped to build the house along with Naseeruddin Uncle! Now isn’t that something???

I'm sorry if this is completely off topic but I can't seem to get any help regarding my query. I was wondering if any of you know the exact colour of AW's pearly white NSX. If anyone could give me the colour code that would be great. Here are some colour codes that I came across for this car:-

hello all,been busy with exams so i couldn't follow up with teh details of the rolls,

anyhow i found this champagne coloured rolls royce silver ghost 1970 in a workshop near the lahore zoo's gate,the one which is approached from china chowk,

i was surprised to see one in pakistan,and fortunate to have stumbled upon it while driving through,but the mechanic in charge told me something that took me aback,the car was there for an engine replacement,it's original motor had been replaced with a lexus v8,according to the mechanic,

the rest of the car was in mint condition,the interior looked clean and so did the exterior,

so any idea who owns it? dos the vccp know of it's existence?

it bore many stickres pointing to aitchison college,some director/goevrnors car.

i didn't take any pictures though,
