Mohsin... since your favourites are of course all from WW2...

I like the Hawker Hurricane... (more stable than the Spitfire) with the Merlin of course, and the DeHavilland Mosquito ( fast, night bomber, fighter and reconnaisance... long distance... made of balsa wood/ rivets and araldite) and two Merlins.

But my third has to be the Fokker Triplane.....von Richtofen.... and all that. All functional and lethal in their own ways.

Motorbikes I can appreciate but having severe backache ( since settled ) from age 18 to 30 I gave up on them a long time ago. Saw a picture of a Triump Speed Triple ( modern)... did give a tingle though. Or a Ducati 996/ 999

I love the late 30's era (pre-war). Cars, planes, bikes....everything was at its best. Looks and sound are two things which make my juices flow.

hey there comrades.im in beijing these days enjoying the games any way though beijing does not have many classic cars thanks to beijings laws regulating cars older than 15 years some of the more prominent classics though are a 71 caddy that is just for show outside hardrock cafe and a couple of transams and not to forget a 60s mini. will try to post some pics of other vintages and classics over here.

I like the pre-war recer Auto union, D type and C type V12 and V16, they were light years beyond their time, I like Jag D type before but now these memoth cars are changing my mind

the case is that china makes every thing these days 80% of the products are probably made in china the thing is that these things are made in china but not for the domestic market .though its going to be hard looking for these il give it a try .

Very few semi-auto VWs left. Most were converted to manual transmission as parts and qualified mechanics dried up. Islamabad has (as far as I know) just three autos. The ex light blue (now lime green metallic) may be the only one available. Its laid up for want of a few basic transmission parts. I believe the owner is Tauqeer. The other two are up and running. One with Ahmad, the other seen outside the Standard Chartered Diplomatic Enclave branch.
