that Buick had a Peshawer no. I have the no. somewhere. I had actually bought it in partnership with a friend from someone in Lahore for 200,000/- in 1993-4. The car was at my house for almost 6 months. I am glad I had pulled out as you can't share a classic car...it's a bad idea.

the Buick is doable but it is not for sale - owner lives in UK and plans to restore it someday. Had asked me to help but I can't take full projects of cars not belonging to me. Age / pressures of family / finances catching up

but the condition is great and if you see what 2.0 million would buy you today I guess owner is justified in asking this much. 8 lacs would have been a bargain. It's a very stately car.

there was late 40s early 50s buick that belonged to a dada in the extendid family my father told me about it and it matched the discription of a 49 buick he dosent recall the year as he was about 8-9 years old at the time he last saw it in the house .and so the search continues.

i belive there still might be some classics in places like sahiwal sialkot and other such small cities all that needs to be done is that they need to be re discovered, yup great story from the quaids driver , the founder turned out to be a real car lover although those cars might have been very modern at the time .

www.cal-mustang.com is usually pretty good but i doubt if they do parts for Mustang II's....

Other than that for help and restoration advise I highly recommend Mustang forums, the guys there live and breathe mustangs and they know what they talk about and on top of that they are very helpful...i doubt you'll get flamed if you ask a proper question
