difficult choice....both look good. Maybe get a fiberglass body made and put it on a modified jeep chassis to build a modified truck with V8 and works.....and restore restore the original one

by any chance does any1 know if any of these cars are still surviving?
1) 1950,s Nash ambassador 4 dr
2) a standard swallow (dont knw the year)

both the cars were in Lahore till the mid 60,s

i wouldent do that to a oldie even if it was a rustbucket its better to get fiber glass replicas made and hotrod those up there are plenty of hilux chasies to provide home for a replica pickup .for the real thing a resto would be great .
@ hunbal would love to find that nash you are talking about its another odd ball at the time people would rather have bought a good old chevy rather than the underdogs

talking of Nash, there was a Metropolitan in Karachi which seems to have disappeared - it was cute little car. No idea of Nash or Swallow in Lahore.

how is it not desirable? the condition is another story. if i am not wrong, it has a diesel in it and the suspension is hilux..

@samhassan ur right about the Nash ...but i belive the Swallow would have been quite a car back then ...and the one im talking about was a soft top ....both the cars belonged to my Grand father he gave the cars to his younger brother when he left pk in 64 ....i have seen pic,s of these 2 cars and another convertible most probably a 50,s convertible buick. i wonder what happened to the cars later on because all the people who could have given me a clue about where the cars went Died ...My grand father used to mention these cars but he had no idea what happened to the cars

Hotrod is basically your own style or you can say its a lifestyle in america if I want to standout from a sea of a stock position restored wheels then I would and will go for hotrod, and apart from stock position restoration I like the lowrider, hotrod, flake paints etc. hotrod have a cult following specially 32 roadster and you cant deny it

the pic spectra posted was of a 61 chevy and i second you partialy because of my love for vintage americana every vintage car in pakistan atleast should be desireable regardless of is desireable or not else where .

safeer bro im not getting any responce from the people who make spinner kits il email you a web page please try to contact them i will be more than to help once you have contacted them .yes i know a thing or two about hotrods as well use to love hotrods more than restored cars but that was back when i was younger and stupider yes indeed it does set some one apart from the other restored vehicles but in pakistan how many of those chevys will you come across just what i think . ooh am i hearing some thing going on about a 56 caddy?

agree with you on every word that you have said. I had suggested that get a fiberglass body made of the truck and mount it on a jeep chassis....and restore the original truck as it was when new. But I love chopped mods
