Thanks for the reference link otherwise it would have been impossible to trace it. I have never met the owner of this truck but have exchanged some mails. He sent me the pics last year and I posted them here. I do believe that this gu brought the truckwith him from USA and had it restored/modified here. I doubt if he would even consider parting with it. We'll try to have him at our annual show next month.

patience and money running out - Healey better behave and get done soon. 5 attempts over 4 days to get the right groud clearance as per factory specs. 2 broken windscreens and 3 days of 2 pax working on the frame and it is still not right. Adjustable frame works perfect without the sceen, with screen it is ok in racing position but doesnt fit properly n teh normal position...aaarrrgghhhhh!!! Driving it in traffic without seats and petrol ka dabba hanging overhead is quite inconvenient.... some pics I took just now. On top of everything, one major denting fault the denter couldn't sort out....want to fix it before taking the car out. Seats are ready in tan leather.
