I think time to pick up this thread again.......
not much car scene these days. Rains played havoc with my cars, despite taking what I thought was appropriate care, water somehow got into my Healey and Mustang and soaked the carpet.
Healey nae nani yaad kera dee. Its been almost 2 months that the car is off the road. Engine is misfiring badly and after opening the cyllinder head, taking apart the carbs, distributor didnt help. I think we have found the flaw and just fixed it but the self starter has given up. Eeeaayaakkkhh!!
Hydraulic valve guides for my Mustang have arrived and await installation. Fiat is in use and Lincoln is running fine....though havent used it much in recent months.
Peugoet that I am restoring for someone is almost ready but surprisingly engine is refusing to turn over. team of mechanics is working on it as I write this.
A 1928 one owner Ford Model A has arrived at my place for a body off resto. Work has started. Will start posting pictures in a day or two.
Lets hear it from all the stakeolders in this thread.....a update on car scene is due from:
neurourgeon, Safeer, buksh, sami, romano and others.
