great projects was wondering where the truck went?

i've wanted to ask a few things.. whats the story on that Ferrari 250 lusso in khi i remember seeing some posts about it in this thread but thats probably a hundred or so pages back. why is it never seen?

and you and your friend were making a list of 50s american cars, do you know anything about a black Buick Roadmaster and red Cadillac convertible with a white top that were sold to a butcher and used by him to transport meat?

finally what are this years categories for the show? is there space for the Buick?

Ferrari Lusso is owned by the Zehri family and the ownership within the family is disputed so the car may never be seen again....I almost bought the car in 1984 for 100,000/-. I could only hope to raise 32,000 from selling my Citroen that u see above, a rust bucket MG TD and a Frogeye Sprite. My dad refused to fund the short fall. It was brought by the American Ambassador to Pakistan in 1963 and eventually went to Mr. Zafar Zehri who used to race this car with other enthusiasts. I have heard interesting tails of its drags with Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing owned by Faqir Ayazuddin at that time on Shahra e Faisal. The 300 SL now resides in MB Museum in Stuttgart.

I know of two Buick Roadmasters, a white/black 56 and a '49 Roadmaster. Both cars in Karachi. The '49 one was registered in Peshawer but lived most of its life in Lahore. I have a list of over 300 classic cars in Pakistan....

thats awesome hope there is hope for her. the 250 is in my opinion the prettiest Ferrari out there.

asking bout the buick and caddy because my dada used to own them when he ran alwin (think thats the spelling) industries and when he sold them he couldn't find a buyer except for a butcher who, according to my granddad, did use their trunks for meat transport..

please do keep me posted on the show, and hope the 500 got home safe that day when you ran out of gas in cantt..

and what about the fatima jinnah cars, i read in earlier pages of the thread that the vcccp got hold of them and i noticed they aren't 0n the sindh archives premises any more. are they being fixed or is there no chance of restoration?
