great picture buddy...looks like the same fire engine. no, we havent started it up. We have cleaned the insides of the pump and will make it working and will work on the engine at some later stage as distrubutor assembly is missing and we have only been commissioned to do a cosmetic restoration. It was my idea to do it frame up to do a thorough job.

im Zaighams's kid brother...the passion runs in the family and my wisdom is probably not even miniscule as compared to my bro's. learnt everything directly from him. though, the passion of mustangs is all my own!

so now u know who to contact if you find a mustang lying around sumwhere waiting to be plucked;)

n yep..zaigham bhai's 1303....man...i was never into veedubs, but that car's gotten me hooked, i drive it more now than he does:P

@storm; oh and another thing...bowties!.a red 1972 mach-1 was featured in the 007 movie of the same year;"diamonds are forever" ..so again...the SS might have wanted to be the bowtie muscle car?, but the MACH cemented its reputation there as well hehehehhe.. i feel so cheeky!
n another note; the 1st 007 movie goldfinger featured a 65 mustang conv. running WITH an aston DB-5..so the fact that it was launched as a local US competitor to european coupes & sportscars is very true....and not only something written in the brochures at Ford in April 1964...

hahahah yeah man we are doing it for fun , well if you check the history that how much years ford took to build a semi hemi engine after NRA banned the Hemi in the end Mustang end as a boss, a expensive car with 429 or 427 block or some few numbers of GT models unlike MOPAR with the fraction of the price you can get the same horsepower and torque even in 70, MOPAR was sucess becoz anyone can afford it otherwise if a person have deep pockets he will go for D type or some other racing classic before he jumped into a mustang

Mustang is a very good looking car with a great sound. It can be classified as 'pretty'. Cuda and Charger are mean machines and awesome. They are big, bad and beautiful. But driving them, I am sure a Mustang GT 500 or a 350 would be more fun and their ownership more satisfying.

the 65-66 is a prettty car...and the 67 conv.
the rest are as mean as u can imagine...esp the 69-70 fastbacks...so no i donot agree with the best mustangs as being "pretty"

you are the last man on this planet Earth who I would be arguing with when the subject is 'Mustang' - for me Mustang stands for Mustangs made in 1965, 66 and 67. From '68 onwards they became bulky and not what they were meant to be....they became Muscle Cars ( I think ). I guess Mustang name stretched a few years too many.

on another note - had Pakistan been their biggest market in the 60's what would they name their cars....suggestions:

1965 - 67 Mustang Khachar
1968 - 73 Mustang Ghora

GT Shelby - Mustang Maula Jutt da Ghora

Came across this is a Magazine. Do any Kaiser's survive?
Here we have a few, but as the company went defunct, spares became a problem and most were scrapped.

I know of a couple of Kaiser Frasers in Karachi.

One is now with a VCCCP member Ali....I had a pic but cant seem to locate it right now...perhaps it's the same car that is shown in the pic above.

There's a 1949 (not sure) Fraser Manhattan 4 door Convertible. The car is complete though partly dismantled...its available for sale.

Last week someone showed me a pic of another Kaiser which is in Pindi somewhere.
