@mohsin, im pretty sure the one i saw had spoked wheels, maybe we have another one in the country...nevertheless, its pretty frustrating to hear about these cars being exported, the xk, 300sl, the SSK... why? its just beyond me.

@farrushah, the jag looks very familiar, a cousin owned a similar one in the same color a long time ago in islamabad... sold it for 80K when it started giving him trouble...could be the same one. does it have the original engine?

@neuro, i guess we'll have the S2K join the party as well, that is if mohsin permits

btw, i'll be checking out some of the BWP estates R&Rs when i'm in Islamabad next. will post pictures if im permitted. also on the subject of porsches i remember a white 928 in karachi sometime back as well as a white 911 from the 70's...dont think it was a turbo..any ideas mohsin? has anyone thought of putting together some sort of a database of classics on hand?

Yes, I remember the white 928 as well, I asked Mohsin bhai about it sometime back abut I can't reacall what his reply was, The while 70's 911 is still around I'm pretty sure of that, but the last time I saw was 4-5 years ago :S.
Also there used to be a Trans-Am in Phase 4 Gizri Karachi, had been lying in a plot next to a house for the past so many years and th eowner refused to sell it, now it's gone, Hopefully it is being fixed up!

@ Yaserag: The jag is running with the original engine. There is another GREEN Jag from 1974. the engine has been replaced with KZ1 (diesel).

Another mid 70s (British Racing Green) is in Lahore and there's one in Brown in Gujranwala. both of these have original engines. All have excellent interiors and exteriors.

@ Yaserag: there's a white 1970's Silver Ghost Rolls Royce in E-7 (Hill side road) in brilliant condition. Very low milleage. Guy hardly starts it. Not selling!

I dont remember seeing your query regarding the 928. However there were two 928's in karachi, one white and the other silver. Both apparently had some issues with regd. No clue where they are today....there's one locked up in Lahore too..someone had posted pics on this thread many moons ago.

The Alfa GTV is on the road and home. Drove it yesterday... apart from crackle and pop on the overrun.... very much twin carb and twin cams... drove like a dream and this is without the original steering box which is on its way. Lowered stance looks good too. Classicalfa are hopefully shipping parts out in a day or so including a free flow exhaust manifold and exhaust system

The better half immediately demanded banishment of the wreck....it cannot spoil the landscape.... so its going for the bodywork tomorrow.NO PROBS... she ordered it.

Why Oh Why did someone remove the original lights ???? Both the front ones and the rear ones I am having to get the whole rear panel. @seaking where are you???

vcheng... certainlly pipercross make some nice filters for trumpets. this was justa trip across the city and then the car is going for the bodywork.

@ all..this firebird is standing in GOR bath island..its been there in that very position for the past 3 years.
a complete and original 6.6 liter anniversary edition car.
the owner is an **** as far as history goes

Ive tried to get in touch with the owner of the Black Firebird several times but he doesnt want to sell, the last time I met him was probably around a year and a half ago, he said even if he was to sell it would be far higher than I would be willing to pay!!! I hadn't even made him an offer at that point so I assume he doesn't want to sell, it was in pretty decent nick when I saw it, all complete, seemed to just need minor bodywork and a re-spray from the exterior, don't know about the condition of the engine but even in its current state it looked really nice.
