there was one 1969 Mustang available in Shershah for Rs. 350,000/- but the dude has put in a 2C diesel engine and there were no signs of the original engine or transmission. So could get the deal through.

Pics seem old... the mini is now green and white... has corolla door handles and a suzuki engine...

the good thing about qasimshah getting his hands on a mustang is that he lives in pindi and i can get a look at it from time to time that is if he doesnt take it to lhr :S

Asad Ishaque would be a good option to confirm this myth... i.e. if he has time to go down to shershah and check if there really is a mustang there...

Mate; if i ever do get a mustang in Pakistan, it will stay at my parents house, and they have no plans to shift from pindi anytime soon:P

^^True that... and as per my info... shershah isnt exactly like ur friendly babu mohalla or sultan da kuh... to get into that place and come out in one piece you need more then a few contacts...

hmmm....I do believe that some pakwheelers did comb shershah through and through and the only chrome bumpered specie found was a round almost egg shaped thing that people fondly call beetle. No offence to Beetllers.....I own two beetles too and I love them.

I guess for the sake of Qasim if not anybody else, Kashif must pm the contact details of Mustang's owner to Qasim.........we want Qasim to own a Mustang.

VCCCP CAR SHOW IN KARACHI is being planned sometime in mid January 2011.

I on behalf of the club would like to invite our classic car owners from other cities to drive down to Karachi and particpate in the show.

The rally can be organised under VCCCP 's umbrella, joint effort can be made to find sponsors to cover costs and maybe some of us from Karachi and drive down to mid Sindh to receive you and bring you to Karachi with us.........

Lets see if we can get atleast 15 cars.
