i wish i had some of my own money so that i can get this Oldsmobile Super 88 1961... i really adore, but the guy who is selling it asks a lot for it, he asks for 3lakhs, whereas it needs some body work along with a lot of work on engine, transmission, paint and the interior.. actual pics of the car will be uploaded soon

Sometime ago, me too missed an Oldsmobile Rocket 88 and the asking was just 60,000 like 4 yrs from now.

Sh*t happens man, it happens all the time. So, go for it and if it's a coupe then hit fast.

sir, i am a student doing my A levels, so u knw a student cant do alot, my parents say this age is for studying, i got a whole life for cars
and yeah i'll be going to see a classic lincoln on sale, lets hope thats in a good condition and fairly cheap so i can do something..

what do u think abt paying him 1.5 for it ???
i was offered this help from a fellow in this forum and now i extend it to u

and one more thing..
have u seen the car with ur eyes as it was pathetic to look at (for me atleast) and is quite better in the pictures

and also

there are paper issues associated with the car

yeah the white one with red top, the guy told me he'll clear all the issues with the car, he'll transfer the car for the owner, but it doesnt look pathetic, its a real classic beauty

since you have a workshop now and understand modifications etc. better than most, can you work out an approximate cost to convert a standard 1968 beetle into something like this....I would prefer a VW Bus engine, ideally 2200 cc if somebody can find that for me otherwise an american V8
