The 2600 had a problem with the engine.... one of the conrods became free and the engine just stopped... thank goodness no damage to the crank or the pistons.. opportunity was taken to have the gearbox overhauled... but the interior still isn't done..seats and dashboard are done but carpeting and the gear level gaiter etc are still to be done and the hood made.
the engine is a little bit tight so it is to be driven with care... the steering takes a lot of effort...but for effortless cruising.. heaven... its not a sports car but more of a cruiser.. although it was Alfas most powerful car in its day
3rd VCCCP Cross Country RallyRally has been re-scheduled and the revised itinerary is as follows:? Start from Karachi on Sunday 4th Nov at 0700 hrs sharp? Overnight stay in Gumbat on 4th? Overnight stay in Bahawalpur on 5th? 3 nights stay in Lahore (6 ? 9 Nov)? 2 nights stay in Islamabad (9 ? 11 Nov)? 2 nights stay in Ayubia KPK (11-13 Nov) ? Return to Islamabad on 13th, put the cars on the truck and take a return flight back home. Number of entries has increased from 10 cars to 14 cars starting from Karachi. Atleast one joins in from Bahawalpur and more from Lahore. All particpants have been informed accordingly.
