If you watch indian channels, it appears that whole of india considers us to blood thirsty terrorists. But this doesnt seem to be the case here. I am gratified to see this much respect towards a fellow pakistani.

changezbashir... may i suggest a corola 73 2dr or coupe. do it up... all parts available... the coupe was known as the levin and with a twin cam 8 valve was a far eastern rally car.

Hi, everyone, I realise that I'm replying to a thread from ages ago.. I have just returned to Karachi and I am searching for a Toyota Levin. Having fallen in love with the Levin bodyshape, or "mango" I searched the name on this thread and realized that Neurosurgeon had replied with the exact same suggestion.So in short looking for a Toyota Levin 1600 TE27 in Karachi. I wonder if you could point me in the right direction... Ideally I would like a car without CNG attached, as original as possible and an estimate of how much a decent resto would cost. As I mentioned all those months ago, it will be my daily driver and I intend to build it up weekend by weekend, or as much as the bank account can handle.

Where is this car. Looks like a 1971 200 D.
Any pictures of the engine? looks in reasonable shape, all depends on what price the owner will let it go for. Needs a complete paint job to start with so money will definetly have to be spent on it.
This is besides the mechanical parts and what condition they are in.

Nice car. From the look of it, it certainly has the potential to be restored / rebuilt. However, may I point out that the car is NOT a '64 Impala. It's a '63.

There's a bit of a burgeoning car restoration market in F-11 in Islamabad. Why not give it a try over there?

Hi.I want to restore my Mark II (recently bought)
I have got it fixed mechanically to some extent. Got suspension overhaul (front). I have to go in Urdu from here as am not sure with terms
Chimte ki pins alter ho k kisi aur ki lagi hoi theen, so I found original chimtas from Bilal Ganj and got those installed with new ball joints, new shocks, and tie rod end, Arm Bush, GR Bush, and some other things
I also got break shoe rear changed.

Now coming to body.
I have to get it painted but if I get it before its gonna be ruined by mechanics later so am gonna go with body first,
I have to get its side mirrors, (preferably if any fit on door rather than in fender)
I have to get its original dashboard. Everyone in Bilal Ganj keeps saying: Cultus ka fit hojata hai and original not available.
I have to get its Steering Koopa (cover between dashboard and steering)
before I get it painted. Any ideas?
