Finally I did some research for your fintail parts.
Went to Shershah scrap yard. Checked with one famous parts dealer, Rasheed. He did not have a single fintail part. He gets a lot of stuff from abraod but those are for newer models.
Next checked with another dealer. He is not known to me but I have visited his shop before with my cousin who hunts for 115 series parts. This guy has a lot of old things, even from a 50s or 40s benz that he had mercilessly hacked up a few years ago. He is known to charge SKY HIGH prices.
This guy had headlights which he claimed to be original but then when I insisted on checking them they turned out to be aftermarket Jap seal beams. Dont think he had any more goodies to offer.
Was roaming around the place when I stumbled upon a guy who does not deal specifically in Benz parts but had hacked up a fintail a couple of days ago. Could not get details what the car had exactly as the main guy was not there but saw a few things stuffed in sacks and decided to investigate.
Here is what was there: (lets see if memory works):
-- Headlight rings, a pair but I dont think they were German. If I know VWs then I might know Merc a bit. Those were aftermarket but of acceptable quality maybe.
--Headlights were seal beam unit off a jap car. The retaining rings were there but maybe were aftermarket. No Bosch or Hella logo or stamp seen.
--The window winder mechanisms. Were rusty but maybe they worked. Should be working.
--The lock opening handles. Only the portions which you actually pull along with the cables. These are chrome but they had a lot of surface oxidation and had lost the shine.. One was broken I remember.
--The door lock portion which goes in the car pillar. All four were there.
--The door hadles. Fronts were presentable but rear's push buttons were dented. Wonder what they were subjected to.
--I did see one tail light chrome surround but it was broken.
--The meter was there!! Seemed to be in nice shape but the glass was a bit scratched. It had been torn off the dash and a good piece of the dash was attached to it.
I think thats about it...........
