To do normal cancellation he needs your passport , which he won't have as you are not in Dubai .In this case he need to show as you left country against his will and he will out you in absconding , and then he will be able to cancel you .

Sponsars normaly report the nearest police station that the mention employee is abscent, not reporting on duty, no contact and that sponsar is no mre responsible of this employee.
Hence police find out the guy, investigate the matter and deport the employee in most cases. As per law the despute has to be resolved and or employee should get all dues before deportation but that seldom happens.

But isn't the account gets closed in case of visa cancellation? this is what was told to my by the bank.

Like some said above that the employer can declare employee abscond so in that case passport will not be required.

Nothing happens to the Bank Account. Bank account is only affected when;

1. Your passport expires; because they have your passport information and they ask you to submit a copy of the renewed passport.

2. Your visa expires; since they have your visa copy and they know when it is going to expire and they again ask you for the renewed visa copy.

Again it varies from bank to bank. I had an employee who came to UAE after a couple of years when we gave him visa. He used his old account that was still running.

As far as transferring the funds is concerned, your ATM Card would still be functional. You can give it to someone who can do the transaction for you. Other than that, if you have internet banking, you can transfer it to some other account.

How can you say that the account is blocked? Banks do not have any information about visas cancellation. They only know when it is being expired. Your visa is cancelled, not expired.

Plus if you have online banking, you can check by logging in.

Germany by no means is small country and smaller in Europe. Infact it is one of the biggest economies in Europe. First and for most you would need to know the language for these so called smaller countries in your books. And yes there is a lot of requirements to get a visa for any of the mentioned countries.

How can you say that the account is blocked? Banks do not have any information about visas cancellation. They only know when it is being expired. Your visa is cancelled, not expired.

Plus if you have online banking, you can check by logging in.

Dear friends,
Aoa. Do anyone has any updaye about Saudi Consulate, Karachi?
Why are they delaying visa stamping process so much. I have a job offer from saudia and have put up case for work visa since 15th November through agent but uptill now no progress. Agent is saying that there are some issues like strike etc going on in karachi embassy.
If anyone has any update please let me know.
