bro our plan is to leave islamabad on evening of 29th sep around 5-6pm. then will try to reach naran same night, if we can make it if not then a night stay somewhere around balakot. then next day will try to reach skardu or gilgit depending on what will be decided among friends either to visit Skardu first or travel towards huza/khunjrab first.

Yes Naltar is doable within a day from both places (gilgit/ hunza)
Naltar lake is further away from the famous naltar ski slopes.

Not possible as you will hardly make it back to main Gilgit by maghrib. And gilgit chilas route is not reccommended for night driving

you can do skardu deosai astore gilgit in two days with a stay at astore

Thanks @nagar1 for this good idea, I did thought about this but as I will be travelling in a pre-engaged car(sedan) for the entire trip, so travelling through Deosai from Astore, I believe is not recommendable.

Yes , What I can do is that from Naran I can break at Astore,Hire a 4x4 and spent night at Rama , next morning visit area (Rama LAke) and then through Deosai Skardu , is it doable without risk and excursion as I will be accompanying my spouse. How much jeep will be charging for this trip?

Sep 9. Khi-Isb (by Air) Isb - Naran. - stayed at Naran
Sep 10. Naran-Gilgit--- stayed at Gilgit
Sep 11. Gilgit- Naltar- Hunza. - stayed at Hunza
Sep 12. Hunza- Khunjrab pass- Gilgit-- stayed at Gilgit
Sept 13. Gilgit-Shangrila- Skardu-- stayed at Skardu
Sept 14. Skardu- Deosai-Skardu-(met heavy snowfall)
Sept 15. Skardu-Manthoka -Shigar -Skardu
Sept 16. Skardu-Gilgit-- stayed at Gilgit (shopping NLI mkt)
Sept 17. Gilgit-Naran-Nathiagali-Muree-- stayed at Muree
Sept 18. Around Muree and Pariata etc- stayed at Muree
Sept 19. Muree-Isb-Khi

No issues whatsoever , great weather , splendid snow fall experienced at khunjrab pass and much heavier at Golden Deosai( nearly full day).

Naltar was dream place , visited houses in village to observe culture -- extraordinary people and host . We were allowed to pluck apples of different kind and carried them to Karachi for my daughter.

The best thing in GB is value of education , these people have bright future ahead.

Also experienced sunrise on Rakaposhi from eagle nest , it is an unexplainable experience .

Manthoka fall utterance was having many messages in itself.

Road between cold desert silently rolled down.
