Vitz - 2013 - Advice regarding newly purchased car

It's 2013 model with 50,000 KM on the odometer. Why not 5W30.

5W40 shall be too thick at this stage. He may start using 5W40 once 100,000 KM are done.

I had maintained so many of these new version vitz few out of 50 vehicles had original mileage on them if the vehicle is driven 50000km on odo it must have been driven more and in result the meter is reversed back for getting good resale price. It can easily be checked through techstream. 2nd here in pakistan. The 5W40 is a good go for these engines. Many of my clients had used low viscosity engine oil like 5W-20 5-30. In their new vehicles and after driving 5 to 10 k their engines were more noisy than of normal vehicle. So 5W-40 is best for all jdm engine brands except for some diahatsu,nissan & suzuki 660cc varient engines which are designed for low visc oil. If not followed properly they suffer from fuel eco low problem.

Dont forget to flush the old oil with engine flush as it will clear the oil galleries from sludge and also clears the vvti cam gear oil galleries for better flow. And also use some oil additives to keep these jdm engines run smoothly and can handle the abusive driving of our daily routine drive.

Net material seat covers are usually heat friendly but they catch dust the most will cost you around PKR 3500
Leatherite material are easy to clean costs almost same

It's Pioneer Carrozzeria AVIC-MRZ 05... does it include the Nav System as well? I have no idea.. As of now, it plays the Audio media, but not the Video

Liqui moly fully synth 5W-40 for the engine oil along with 1ceratec can and 1motor peotect can. But be sure to flush up the old engine oil with same LM engine flush. And then change it with above mentioned oil and treatments you will love your ride when you drive it.

Sir, I don't mean to challenge your experience and since I'm new to Vitz so I'll just seek further clarification. Do u think that an engine as new as Vitz 2013 ( even if it's 50-100k driven) will have oil residue clogged around VVTI cam n oil galleries? Secondly, when we decide to use the best available engine oils available in market, Why do we still need additives? Is a good oil not optimally formulated to take care of the engine, especially when one of it's main functions is engine cleaning? Thank you

Engine cleansing through oil is good enough but keep in mind that why the old version vitz is suffering from excessive knocking issue because we had previously experienced by putting all of the duties on regular engine oil. Like. Engine lubrication., thermal absorption, and cleansing on oil which in end result's in knock issue which cant be resolved later due to the damage already done. So by the experience of those faults which we had suffered in past directs us toward the fix viscosity synthetic engine liquids along with oil additives to suppress those symptoms and protecting engine from any sort of harm like low lubrication problem at peak performance. Increased thermal efficiency to keep the internals temperature low, and super cleansing and cleaning properties to keep the engine oil. Galleries tidy and shiny to perform better than stock vehicle. Is the concept is clear or should I had to describe it more briefly / in detail.

This model is capable of playing audio formats only it has cd player so it cannot read dvd, and i think it is also not capable of reverse camera too, yes navi is there but as its a typically japanese player so it will have maps of japan only, any car entertainment shop wala will guide if maps of pakistan can be added or not?

Well explained bro... so now the second issue is the quantity. Vitz needs 3.5 lits of engine oil. To be precisely accurate about the requirement of oil in the engine, we need to precisely work out the amount of engine oil + additives (ceratec can & motor protect can). Can u please tell me the exact amounts ? Do these cans come in one quantity or differ? R these all LM products? I just want to be sure that engine doesn't get over filled. This time my bro took the car for oil change and he put Total Quartz fully synthetic 5W-20 in Vitz. Next time I'll put in 5W-40 as recommended by you. Thanx.

This seems to be a sorry state bro.. what to do now? I'm not much interested in Nav but I'm very much interested in DVD Video and support for rear view cam... What Options do i have ????

I'm also interested in leatherite material seat covers. Can u recommend any Vitz specialist with regards to seat covers? Pindi / Islamabad. Though I love it's original seat fabric but it's because of the colour that I want to cover them.. thanx

My thoughts exactly - most German and American engine oils already come with detergents to clean the engine along the way- i always wondered if flushing the engine was such a good idea why would the maintenance schedule of all cars include it?

please refer to the manual for engine oil. 5w40 is thick for vitz and will not give optimal fuel economy. do not use a thicker oil than a 30 grade oil. i suggest to use 0w30 or 5w30 all year round. car manufacturers know whats best for their engines. the engine runs at the same operating temp during both winters and summers. unless u take the car for continuous high speed racing do not use oil thicker than a 30 grade.
