I have vitz 2005 got an idea y not we just extend the pipe of stock airbox in the cabin ... then car will take cold air as we mostly use AC ... plz comment on it ... i will try it and will let you know.
You will gain more performance by just switching off the AC at wide open throttle with a calibrated cut-off switch.
so you are going to cut the firewall :S etc to get the induction pipe inside.Better make a scoop on the hood for the filter will catch fresh air
