Sorry for getting back late, I had to take care of things at office too after a long break.

Test drive results:

-0 to 60 yet to be taken, i think it would be aroung 8.5seconds, previously with 1SZFE(1.0VVTi) it was aroung 15-16sec, however, on motorway I totaly F***ed a 09Civic which is ofcourse 1.8iVtec (0-60 8.8sec)

-Even driving up the hill 09Civic wasnt a match at a speed of 140Km/h

-Didnt go too fast, 160Km/h a couple of times, its a piece of cake for the baby now, it should go to 199Km/h easily.

-Fuel economy is very good MASHALLAH

driving at 80-90Km/h : 23km/litre approx

driving at 115Km/h : 16Km/litre approx

driving at 140Km/h : 13-14Km/Litre approx

only put liqui moly or ZIC HIGHFLOW yellow one for vvti DOHC engine..

did you manage to get your exhaust sorted out..?

Pocket? It took too much out of me man...Money plus hell lot of other things, I had to work day and night,it was a big project.U can say Rs1.5Lac plus "Mehnat" worth more than Rs2Lac more.

u r rite yaar. i simply cant wait. i was planning to get the same done on ma platz and then see the faces of others on the road, but somehow i got off track on ma budget on platz its gonna be even more fun cause ma car is already manual tranny, and then its a lil heavier than vitz so i guess i wud get better stability on the road as well

and agreed with the engine oil. i maself m running fully synthetic Zic XQ on ma car. i wud recommend liquimoly or Mobil 1 fuly synthetic on this lil pocket rocket

Dont worry man, its worth the spent.

I have changed whole of the suspension as well.Its a beast now and contains the engine well.Ride is excellent and it gives a very heavy feeling.Im very happy with the stability.

Ur platz would need the suspension to contain the engine,car ride immediatly tells the difference of suspension.My vitz doesnt feel like a vitz anymore, Im enjoying the feeling of having a compact sports hatch..

AND U KNOW WHAT?

My vitz is a coupe model i.e 2xDoors ONLY

Im in love with my ride now...2 Door compact beast!

wow good swap..this engine is very good,got the same one in my corolla X and it killz rollas and civics on motorway.Hey try using high octane,it improves a great deal of preformance especially with this engine.

Swap job was vigorous and very hectic, spendings breakdown is a mess believe me but i can give u guys a rough idea.

-Engine with Manual Trans for around 85K

(My car was allready in Manual Trans therefore no fuss)

-Suspension from an RS Trubo for around 40K

-Exhaust custom job for around 12K

-A/C work 2000Rs

-Side spendings like Oils and other support material

Man be carefull with ur belta, i think RS/vitz/platz suspension wont fit bolt to bolt, DONT EVER think about Alteration/modification!!! Car would get ruined.Do it only if u find genuine parts for belta.I recommend doing that.But do think it over technically and do take advices from guys here like

Belta is a very nice car, i envy it. Be carefull with it.

I faced many problems within engine compartment as well as suspension,mounts BUT I STRICTLY DID NOT MOVE AWAY FROM GENUINE SPECIFIED PARTS. And believe me it is very diffcult to handle the mechanics (mistri) and get them to work as per ur desire.They F*** you and you cant f*** them back.

The parts/engine guy says that whole conversion would be done in 75-80K but when u talk about specs/quality/genuinity then budget rises.

By the way I still need to fix my exhaust
